This is all great! RIP Dr. Ben Gilmore, You have made a tremendous impact on so many people and touched so many lives... You are and always will be truly missed. We love you and I can see your smiling face looking down on all of us! Encouraging us to do all we can do.. You were truly a Once in a lifetime person.. There will never be another who could take your place, im honored to have had the privilege of knowing you and having you in our lives.. - Sasha

A post on Dr. Gilmore's Tribute Page suggested a food drive be done to honor him.

The post "In honor of Dr. Ben, I think it would be wonderful if we could do a food drive & get the shelves stocked back up in the food banks around town.

They are critically low & I can't think of anything Dr. Gilmore would have liked more than to make sure the kids he took care of get to eat.

Columbus Peds has agreed to be a drop off site for any food for the food banks or any cards or letters you would like to share with his family. Fantastic Sam's in Columbus has also agreed to be a drop-off place. 

Sandcrest Family Medicine wants to honor Dr. Gilmore by participating in the food drive as well. We will have boxes out starting tomorrow Wednesday August 15. Our thoughts are with his family, colleagues and patients....Please share :) Thank you Dr. Dornfeld!
