Mindy Hall He was the only doctor my kids ever saw. They loved him and loved going to the doctor because of him! He was a wonderful, caring, compassionate, goofy guy (with the kids) that I will truly miss. I really wish he knew how important he was and how loved he was... Maybe things could have been different. Just in complete shock/denial still. Definitely shed a lot of tears today for him. A lady I spoke with worded it best... "He may have only been a Dr, but as a Pediatrician and someone you and your kids love and trust, he is family. RIP Dr.Ben. Gone but not forgotten.

Melissa Pass Dr.Gilmore wasn't just a doctor he was family. He healed the ear infections, runny noses, coughs and sore throats. He answered the questions that many would've thought were silly. He made the kids feel better and the parents too. You are loved and missed Dr.Ben.

Jennifer J. Stevens Dr. Ben was truly a wonderful doctor. He saw my children & was the doctor for many of my clients. I always heard wonderful comments about him. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Cami Bass  I am troubled to hear this. He was an amazing doctor. He saved my sons life when a health issue was ignored by another doctor. He made the hardest time in my life seem easier with his caring words and knowledge. He always put a smile on my childrens faces, as well as mine. He was a very loving and caring man. While I can't understand why this happened, he will be truly missed by many. Prayers for his family through this terrible time

Mariah Watkins My daughter saw him once & he was amazing. A severe storm had gone thru & he had run out in the storm & pulled 2 kids out of a van bc the wind was tearing trees and traffic lights down.

Even though I had not seen Ben for several years, I find his "sucide" hard to believe. My wife and I gave one of our CCI release dogs to Ben and his family. "Pal" was one of many joys in his life. I hope there is a murder investigation!!!.

The best Dr. that my son's have ever had. He made them his friends, not his patients and they were never upset to see the dr. They loved their visits with him. My youngest ranked him as one of his most favorite people in the world. He will be missed my many.

You were up later than I was Samatha. I wasn't able to go Angela. The Balloon release WAS a story on here, was it not? LOL I wanted to see the pics of all the colourful balloons celebrating the Life of Ben Gilmore. Afterall, death is about the[I] CELEBRATION[I] of LIFE. What a beautiful way for his patients, friends, and those who loved him to say goodbye, even tying a note to a balloon!

What would your note say, Paula?
"Sorry you're gone, but you were selfish for committing suicide."
