Indiana State Police say a 19-year-old male escaped from custody after being pulled over for speeding on U.S. 31 in front of White River Broadcasting Thursday morning.

The man was arrested at 9:15 and currently in Bartholomew County Jail.

He will be charged with escape, minor with possession of alcohol, minor consuming alcohol, resisting law enforcement and operating a vehicle without a license.
