Indiana State Smoking Law (ban) takes effect today

Statewide smoking ban Effective TODAY!

The ban means NO smoking in all enclosed public places and workplaces and within 8 feet of an entrance, except as exempted.

The law exempts: horse racing facilities; riverboats; all indoor portions of casinos and other licensed gaming facilities; cigar bars and hookah lounges; private clubs; retail tobacco stores; bars and taverns (defined as any business with a liquor license that does not allow in persons under 21 years of age); and cigar manufacturers.
