Apostolic Truth Tabernacle church members greeted by camera's and protesters today

By posting online a video featuring a small child slandering homosexuals. As a parent I am outraged that someone would allow their child to be taught intolerance so early on.

A church is a place of acceptance and love, and in our small community, where church is so important, we should not allow a church to spread this hate-speech.

They have Freedom of Speech, but so do we!!! So, join me as we teach these people that Greensburg is not a backwards town, but one faced towards progress! said Lucas Hartwell on his event page to protest outside of the church today.

The protesters greeted church members as they came to church to stand up for the rights of all people, claiming no one has the right to judge. (photos by Jamie Jones posted on the events page)

One member said (pictured above) "You may not like our belief system, maybe contrary to your belief system, but our belief system is based on the bible"

Lucas Hartwell said to Channel 13 this morning, he is one of the organizers of the protest.  "I believe we are here today because not only for Gay Rights but these people shouldn't be teaching their children to HATE at such an early age. A church is a place of love and compassion, and your suppose to go in there accepting. You can't go in there and say I hate Homosexuals, or ain't no homo's going to make it to heave, it is just hurtful. Plus who are they to judge us? They are humans just like the rest of us, and they have no say in who makes it to heaven God does!"

Protesters promise they will return to Apostolic Truth Tabernacle next Sunday with support from national organizations.
