Wife told her husband was killed, to learn it was a "joke"

News spread through out Facebook yesterday about James Robert Turner being killed while being incarcerated. Rob's wife, Monica said "I receive a call from a number I didn't know telling me my husband had been killed during a shift change even though he was suppose to be in protective custody."

The next day Monica called the facility Rob was being held to inquire about his death, she was told he was very much alive and had been relocated on the 17th. Rob's three children are devastated someone would say their father was killed just to learn he hadn't.

After learning the news her husband was alive she called the number that called and told her about her husbands "death", the voicemail picked up belonging to a Samantha Walker.

Monica reports that she has been harassed repeatedly on Facebook and was told by Samantha "she had a baseball bat and was gonna beat my head in and put Monica in hell." The threats started after Samantha's sister-in-law Brittany Findlay was supposedly labeled a "Snitch" by someone. The confusion could have stemed from another friend of Monica's being arrested.

Monica thinks no matter how mad you get at someone you should always consider the children who could be involved, they are the innocent ones who don't deserve to be confused emotionally with practical jokes.
