Lost dog found after it attacks would be "finder" / "Thief"

Yesterday we got a notice to report a lost dog, we tweeted "LOST - Yorkie named Abby, missing from or near GRANDVIEW LAKE/ WELLSVILLE PIKE AREA. 9 LBS. #ColumbusIN" and later in the night we received a text letting us know the dog was found.

The story goes - a woman "found" or was attempting to "steal" the dog...owners don't know which. When the dog was inside the vehicle it became angered and attacked the woman. The woman fearing she had just acquired rabies lead her to phone police.

You said you could help find a missing dog. My story is fairly similar. Roughly 4 days ago during a storm my dog went missing from north Vernon. She is 10month old German Shepard. I do have a reward out for her and have searched and asked around since then. And two days ago she was seen in maskatuck parck camping grounds with an 18-20 year old male on a mountain bike. The camp host said it stuck out to him because the guy didn't call her by name just kept telling "hey come here" and never had a leash for her. I miss her so badly and I am very desperate to find her.
