City attempts auction website to sell 2006 GMC $0 listing fee

The Board of Public Works and Safety has chosen to use eBay (online auction) to sell the mayor’s 2008 GMC Acadia.

Using the username incitycolumbus with zero feedback, this is a flag or scare to anyone buying a vehicle on an auction website.

The likely-hood this vehicle will sale on eBay falls upon LUCK, and the $0 listing fee will at least show only time was wasted, if it doesn't sell.

The listing titled "GMC Acadia SLT-2" Feb. 1st is the end date, with a starting bid of $21,500 or a buy it now price of $27,000. WHAT THE @%^&*!

The max value this vehicle is worth (provided someone wanted to spend that on a gas guzzler SUV) is $23K, if City is lucky, but most likey it will only pull $20K. There is a chance it would only fetch $17K or lower...

The Vehicle VIN# is 1GKEV337X8J202548 with the mileage being listed as 63,800

The City didn't list any description or details with the listing, leaving the buyer to "wonder" the story behind the sale.

Jealousy - I don't think so! Mayor Brown has done nothing since taking office that would make me or anyone else jealous of her. She is rude, she doesn't use actual facts, she has the repulsive and its reporters in her hip pocket, she can't make decisions about appointments, she can't or won't find an administrative assistant, she hasn't made any effort to unify the city i.e no minority appointments, did not attend the MLK breakfast. She is evicting the Cheer Fund - probably doesn't know what it is - give me a break - why would anyone be jealous of her. She promised transparency - where is it - ask a policeman what she told them about the money from the car - it wasn't cold water rescue - that's for sure. How can they promise 4 minute resuce - that would mean they would have enough equipment and TRAINED manpower in every neighborhood with a pond or lake. Also make sure you read the Columbuzz post about the letter to the editor that the repulsive changed - transparency my foot!.
