I would like to personally thank Jim Clouse, Judy Jackson from commUNITY Development for the DVD+R’s to make the DVD’s and for the photo’s they submitted. So the city of Columbus is involved in the process of this DVD along with Photolicious Keepsakes for developing of the movie to place on the DVD.  If you want to contribute to the DVD we need, DVD cases, Labels for DVD and Cases, Ink.

Our goal is to have these also at the 4H fair, but still need a contact…

All funds are going to be donated to the Heritage Fund since this will be a localized fund just for Flood Relief here in Columbus. Since the Red Cross has pulled out of Columbus and if donations are made to them the funds is pooled into the general fund, just like the United Way building the funds donated will be pooled into the general fund and could be spent on other things instead of the intent of supporting the flood victims.

The cost of the DVD will be $10.00 at events and $20.00 online.

The first run DVD for this Saturday will contain many photo’s but we would like to have original photo’s with higher resolution so if you took any photo’s please submit them to me through email at columbusind@gmail.com .

Please don’t send links to Flicker, Snapvine, Kodak, or MySpace since these image hosting services reduce the size of photo…

Areas we may not have or could use more photo’s of are Weimeyer Edition, Lagoons, Washington St, Marr Road housing editions, Hospital photos (no hospital photos at time of this story), HawCreek Blvd, North Brook, Candlelight, 46 West, Garden City, Waynesville, and other areas not mentioned that were underwater.

Again I appreciate all who have sent photo’s already and look forward to getting more. If you did submit photos for the site or DVD at the end of the DVD will show your name’s along with any business that contributed to the making of the DVD or provided Coupons.
