Kristen Brown targeting employees under previous administration

image

Targeted - anyone who has any relationship with the past mayors administration.

Sue Chappel (after an internal and external found her not guilty of any wrong doing), Rick Caldwell - fired, Jim Norris - fired (receiving unemployment benefits), Gary Henderson on leave until a hearing, Theresa Henderson resigned under pressure, Rod Blasdell - resigning because of pressure from the Mayor Kristen Brown.

If you know anyone who works for they city - ask them if they feel safe in their jobs - unlikely.

Tight ship - ask what they did with used oil before they started selling it - the city paid for someone to hall it away.

Tight ship - paying unemployment for a long time city employee who wanted to work another year.

Tight ship - hiring an outside accounting team for 5 figures rather than use the clerk treasurers office - who is a Republican and got more votes than the Mayor.

And, don't forget, the Mayor removed City documents from Cty hall which was very illegal, but was explained away by - 'I didn't mean to'.

Tight ship - ask NTN which airport they are using - I think you will find it is Indianapolis which takes money out of the city of Columbus airport.  Yeah, a real tight ship.

I certainly hope Andrew Luck takes a page from Kristen Brown’s playbook, and spends his first year exposing how useless and corrupt Peyton Manning was. Because, after all, THAT is how you build a great team, right?

The more the reality of the vindictiveness of this Mayor shows, the more she is sealing her fate. ONE AND DONE. There is no provision to recall a mayor in Indiana.

I am going to suggest that IF the Democrats pick the right candidate who runs the RIGHT campaign, they could very well unseat this Mayor in the next election. She is a disaster for the rank in file Republican party. Her broad base of support will be strongly limited the next time around. I have never seen a local official disenfranchise and create so many enemies so fast and even among many who supported her.

Why does Kristen Brown hate Columbus Regional Hospital?

Why is Kristen Brown hell-bent to divide and destroy and semblance of cooperation in this community?

FROM THE REPUBLIC:
THE president of the Bartholomew County Commissioners is defending Columbus Regional Hospital as the best option for continued ambulance care in the county. President Larry Kleinhenz acknowledged a deep division between the city and county over what government officials should look for in a combined contract for 2013 and beyond.

County Council member Larry Fisher said he likes the hospital’s proposal to reduce or eliminate subsidization. He said the hospital is providing an excellent service, and he wants it to continue so the county can take full advantage of a taxpayer asset like the hospital. “I don’t know what the city is trying to fix if nothing is broken,” Fisher said. “We have one of the top hospitals in the state.”

Brown said the financial aspect is secondary to public safety. The city, she said, needs a provider that meets city guidelines for a high level of service.

What is Kristen talking about?

Kleinhenz disagreed with any suggestion of subpar service. He also disagreed with the mayor’s contention that a 75-25 split of subsidization costs between the city and county is unfair to city taxpayers. He said not only does a high percentage of runs happen in the city, but the city benefits from a county-funded emergency dispatch service that saves the city money

KLEINHENZ FOR MAYOR!

An ambulance service that serves both the city and county is the only logical choice for the good of the community, Kleinhenz said. The hospital controls the ambulance service, and the County Commissioners hold all appointments on the hospital board. The public selects the commissioners, which means taxpayers ultimately are in charge of the hospital. “City residents are county residents, too,” he said. “One of the things that makes our community so great is that we work together.”

Our Harvard educated idiot it ruining this community!

I was at CRH for surgeries in 08, 09, and 11. I received excellent care each time. I'm aware things are different, but never sensed any disgruntled employee. I had great care. I've also needed CRH ambulance twice, again, those medics /adv. emts were great. I would hate to see 80 people lose their job. How many will be losing their job at Dolly Madison?

As far as the doctors our hospital has, the specialists are superior. I've dealt w the cardiologist, interventionalist, neurologist, and pulmonologist. Read up on Dr. David Wilson. He is one of just a few pulmonologist in the country, who is using a specialized bronchoscopy, that ables a diagnoses of lung cancer that day, with the help of the pathologists. We are very lucky to have him as our pulmonologist.

I have seen many changes over the years, and our hospital is always on the cutting edge of new technology, and therapies.

I don't wish Mayor Brown any illness, but she has no clue downing our hospital.

Hang tough all those in the ambulance service. It also really is reassuring that most of the sheriff's have been trained on AED's...if it wasn't for them, my husband wouldn't be here today, while waiting for medic. I hope the calls are designed for a "bus" nearest the location called. It's not reassuring knowing the station on Central would respond, while there is one closer to us..Lowell unit.

Looks like P101 was right again. City Council says ambulance decisions need oversight and in the Republic's article, Kristen questions why CRH needs to be involved? You have got to be kidding me! She IS AN IDIOT! Patients picked up by an ambulance are going to CRH and, if memory serves me correctly, the paramedics perform under the doctors licenses. KRISTEN BROWN IS A MORON!
