Robbery attempt failed at Verizon Wireless

It happened tonight around 6:10 when 2 men walked into the Verizon Store near Mancino's Pizza.

The mission, to steal or attempt to take a Verizon employees cell phone. With phone in hand the bandit headed for the door and the employee followed recovering their phone.

With no phone, police en-route, the 2 men ran into Best Buy and 2 other men sped away. Police were on scene around 6:25 actively seeking out the robbers.

We are taught we shouldn't ever chase someone who robs you, but in this case it worked out.
