And a hearty congratulations on my State Delegate bid is in order. I believe I beat out 3 Ogles (big names in county party politics). So I see that as a great victory and am thankful to my fellow party members for casting their votes.

Joe Bill Whipker has been in the precinct for a looonnngg time. So it's purely name recognition for the reason he won. I was putting my name in to give fellow Republicans an alternative. I wasn't running against Joe Bill Whipker. I was just running for the office to serve. Fellow party members clearly are happy with their current representation in the County committee.
